Describe the Bug

the IDE will do nothing when enter is pressed. enter does nothing, manually clicking on the send message button does nothing. The message isn’t even being sent, it’s just stuck in the bottom chat area

Steps to Reproduce

1. duplicate chat by clicking the 3 small dots on bottom right corner.
2. in the duplicated chat, type any message and press enter.

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Thanks for the detailed bug report. Unfortunately, I can’t reproduce the issue.

Please try:

1. Fully restarting Cursor
2. Duplicating a different chat to check consistency
3. Confirming that regular (non-duplicated) chats work

Does this happen with all duplicated chats or only specific ones?

Also, which model are you using?

1. didn’t fix it.

2. a different conversation works. Here is the problematic id of the one:520dfee4-1310-4256-9996-27b51e118d89

3. non-duplicated chats do work.

4. does happen with only this chat.

5. I tried changing the model in the chat, didn’t work. The initial response model was gpt5-high

happened again in another similar conversation. same exact stuff. Not sure what triggers it, probably something like duplicating a conversation while the previous one’s agent is running or something. Maybe because it has a table, idk.
