During the initial setup of Cursor I have picked the Software development as the context. After setting up, it was asked to add the repositories which i dont have and I dont want. Actually I am looking for questions with Answers thats all.
currently., after typing anything I could able to see that SEND option was disabled and it seems that adding repository is mandatory, where i dont have. So i request your help to set the context back to something else, which makes me to avoid adding repository and enjoy Cursor.
Hey, thanks for the request. Good news: what you picked during setup isn’t related, so you don’t need to reset anything.
The agents page on cursor.com is built around working with a repository, so the Send button stays disabled until a repo is added. That’s expected behavior, not something from your settings.
If you just want to ask requests and get answers without a repository, use the Cursor desktop app. Download it from cursor.com, sign in with the same account (it’s included in your plan), and chat will be available right away without connecting a repository.
