It is way overcomplicated to build a multi repo workspace. I’ve found the fastest best way to do this is to create a workspace file in cursors directory manually (really silly) and restart cursor so it loads it. You should be able to right click and modify the workspace’s repo’s at will instead of jumping through hoops. If you start a new repo and its not a multi repo, you should be able to right click it and just add another directory or remove a directory, or repo source whenever you would like via the UI.
You should also be able to name the workspace whatever you would like instead of it inferring and concatenating randome words and numbers from the linked gitlab repos or folder names. It makes working across microservices difficult.
