Hey, thanks for the report. You’re right. In the version you’re on now 3.17.19, you can’t remove a chat icon after setting it because the icon picker doesn’t have that option.

This is already fixed in newer versions. We added a No icon option to the icon picker. It’s the first tile in the icon grid. After updating to the latest version, right-click the chat → Edit Icon → select No icon, and the icon will reset so the chat goes back to the normal status indicator.

Update Cursor to 3.18+ and let me know if the option is still missing after the update.
