Hey, this is a known issue in Design mode. The “image format” error is misleading. The real cause is that screenshot upload sometimes stops working after a long session.
Workaround: restarting Cursor brings it back. This has already been discussed here: Design mode : "Failed to add image. The image format is not supported.". I’m going to close this thread as a duplicate so updates stay in one place.
