# Export Plans to PDF

### Describe the request

when i have a plan open, it would be nice to have an export button for PDF. there is an option to copy the mark-down, but it’s plain text and MD viewers strip out the graphics.

Hi @Rodd_Kennedy Thanks for the forum post. Copy as Markdown and Save to Workspace are available today, and both give you the plan as markdown. Diagrams show up in the plan view, but in that markdown they stay as mermaid source, so other viewers often drop them. There isn’t an export to PDF that keeps the rendered plan. However, we appreciate the feedback and this post is here for others to weigh in.
