Extension "promptrail" not available in Cursor Marketplace (published & verified on Open VSX)

Hi team,

My extension promptrail is published and verified on Open VSX but is not discoverable in the Cursor Marketplace — neither via search nor via CLI install.

Extension details:

What I’ve tried:

  • Searching in Cursor’s Extensions sidebar — not found

  • cursor --install-extension thisalihassan.promptrail — returns Extension ‘thisalihassan.promptrail’ not found

The extension installs fine from a downloaded .vsix, so the extension itself works in Cursor without issues.

Could you please sync it to the Cursor marketplace?

Hi Guys can anyone from the team answer, why is there a delay in sync? it’s been over an hour and my recent version is still not reflected in the cursor marketplace

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known scenario. Sometimes extensions that are published and verified on Open VSX don’t show up in the Cursor Marketplace right away because of our security scanning process.

About the sync delay for new versions (your second question). There can be a short delay between publishing to Open VSX and the update appearing in the Cursor Marketplace. It usually fixes itself, but if the extension doesn’t show up at all, it may need a manual review.

I just checked and it looks like everything is working correctly now.
