Extensions that do o3 via OpenAI API key? (need to burn old OpenAI credit ASAP before expiry!)

Hello! I am enjoying Cursor, but BYOK doesn’t support o3.

(I switched from Windsurf to Cursor because BYOK exists, and I still subscribe to Cursor Pro! But I want to have cake and eat it too…)

I have excess unused OpenAI API key credits I’d like to burn up before expiry – OpenAI prepaid API funds expire after 365 days. What happened is I prepaid enough to enter Tier 4 instantly, but ended up not using much of it.

It’s time sensitive, these key credits expire this summer.

What plugins can I temporarily use with Cursor for whole-codebase-awareness o3 requests, to solve a few complex problems? With my prompt engineering style, I tend to have fantastic success with o3 on certain complex requests and it’s my go-to for my 5% toughest stuff.

Unless Cursor is introducing BYOK very soon on CoT such as o3…

…What supplementary plugins/extensions are you using with Cursor to access BYOK CoT AI for occasional use?

Update… It seems like Cursor added o3 to custom-key!
I noticed o3 was available even in BYOK mode:

But when I tried it says I can’t stream o3 without being a Verified Organization.

So I went to OpenAI Organization Settings to get my organization verified:

(It’s a relatively easy verification)

Then o3 streamed fine using BYOK in Cursor. Good enough for me to burn my API credits. o3 + MAX will do nicely, as my OpenAI API key expires soon. Thank you!
