I’d love a built-in way, like a first-party Grok Bot connector, for my bots to read my own usage: how much of my weekly allowance is left, and how much on-demand I’ve used.
Why: last weekend I ran several research bots at once and burned through my whole weekly allowance, then $8 of my $10 on-demand cushion, with no warning. Right now the only view is the Usage page in Settings, and the bots can’t see it at all.
What would help:
Bots can report my remaining allowance when I ask.
Before a big job like deep research, a bot gives a rough estimate (“this will likely use about 20% of what’s left”) so I can decide first.
An optional warning when I’m close to spilling into on-demand.
