Please add native Japanese localization for Cursor-specific UI strings.
The official Japanese Language Pack for Visual Studio Code translates the VS Code portion of Cursor, but Cursor’s own UI remains in English. This includes Cursor-specific menus and commands, Settings and account UI, Agent/Chat/Composer controls, dialogs, tooltips, and notifications. The result is a mixed Japanese/English interface that creates significant cognitive load for Japanese-speaking users.
I genuinely want Cursor to be my primary tool. However, this friction is significant enough that I often end up gravitating toward Codex or Claude instead. I am not asking for polished human translation: even a basic, machine-translated Japanese UI would be a major improvement. Please prioritize availability and coverage over perfect wording.
Could Cursor provide a complete, maintained Japanese localization for all Cursor-added strings—or a supported localization mechanism—selectable from Cursor’s language settings and kept in sync as new UI strings are released?
Related context: the Japanese Language Pack issue was classified as an expected limitation rather than a bug, so this is a request for official Cursor UI localization beyond the extension.

VS Code公式の日本語化拡張機能を導入しても、Cursor独自のメニュー・コマンド、Settings／アカウントUI、Agent／Chat／Composer、ダイアログ、ツールチップ、通知などは英語のままです。日本語と英語が混在し、認知負荷が高くなっています。
私は本来Cursorをメインの開発ツールとして使いたいです。しかしこの摩擦のため、結果としてCodexやClaudeに頼ってしまうことがあります。自然で完璧な翻訳は必須ではありません。機械翻訳のような簡素な日本語でも構わないので、まずはCursor独自UIまで日本語で利用できるようにしてほしいです。
新しいUI文字列にも追従する、Cursorの言語設定から選べる公式の日本語ローカライズ、またはサポートされたローカライズ機構を要望します。
