Files edited panel cannot be collapsed

Describe the Bug

The panel that shows the files edited in a chat, can no longer be collapsed. It shows the file list regardless of the collapsed/expanded state.

Steps to Reproduce

Issue prompt that causes file edits.
Wait for completion.
Observe non-collapsible files edited panel appear.

Expected Behavior

Panel should be collapsible.

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Thanks for the report. It looks like the issue is fixed in the latest version.

Please update to version 2.0.40 and confirm that the Files Edited panel is collapsible again.

Let me know if the issue persists on the latest version.

Now using the cursor version below. Panel still cannot be collapsed. There are two panels…the one attached to the top of the prompt input, and a panel that now is rendered at the end of the agent’s work on a prompt, embedded in the chat area. It is this one embedded in the chat area that appears to be collapsible, but is not:

This appears to be fixed in 2.0.54.
