I’m loving the new Cursor Agents and the updated UI!
However, I noticed a missing piece in the workflow that is already present in the standard Chat: the ability to fork a conversation.

This is possible today, it has just moved!
Note that you’ll only be able to fork from the latest message in the Agents Window (in the Editor, you can fork from any message).
Thanks @Colin, But I meant forking from ANY message in the history, not just the latest one. In the standard Cursor Chat, I can fork from any point

If it helps, you can fork a chat and then scroll up to edit the last message you want to send! But otherwise, feedback is heard. 
Has this feature been removed? I can’t find anywhere any options to fork chat.

hey @Dave2_Buchanan, do you mean fork from the most recent chat or from old messages? if the first one, it is in the top right corner!

I think the miscommunication is that I am not using the agents window. I’m using the editor where I have the chat with my agents in the right column. (I don’t think it’s at all useful to not be able to see the code that the agents are making, so the agents window will not work for me)
Is it planned to add the fork feature to chat conversations with agents while in the editor mode?
indeed, sorry for the misread, the previous message context was indeed for the agents window, but, I just checked, and on the latest stable version fork seems to be there and working
