The version of cursor is 0.45.7 and it is installed on my windows pc, (Windows 11 pro, 24H2). Once the cursor is started from my windows pc, it works ok.
The problem occurs when I reach to cursor remotely.
When I access my windows pc from my macbook to work on cursor in the pc, it freezes. (To access remotely, I am using Microsoft Remote Desktop.)
Then, I have to close the cusor and restart it again to make it work ok. However, after disconnecting remote desktop and connect again, it freezes again.
Please help me to resolve this issue.
Then, I’ll happily pay for cursor AI.
Some applications seem to be experiencing freezing issues. So far, I have noticed this problem occurring in Visual Studio Code (VSCode), the cursor, and Chrome. I suspect that this issue is related to Windows 11 and DPI scaling when accessed via Remote Desktop.
When I was using Windows 10, I never encountered this issue in VSCode. However, after recently upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 (January 2025), I noticed that VSCode now experiences the same freezing problem, particularly with the cursor.
Although restarting the affected applications temporarily resolves the issue, it is very inconvenient to restart them every time, especially when multiple windows are open.
I would greatly appreciate any advice on how to resolve this issue.
