Is it just me, or is Claude having a lot of trouble today? I seem to run into fairly frequent and very long pauses, with just bounding elipses (…), that last for several minutes, before the agent continues. Claude Sonnet 4.5 first hit with some wonderful speed that closed the gap significantly with Grok Code and Cheetah. However, lately it seems to have severely tanked in performance, and with these frequent hangs, its really affecting velocity. I was using Cheetah, but today its been around IQ 50, instead of IQ 110, and can’t seem to do anything quite right…
I have the pause problem with gpt-5, sometimes it takes over 6 minutes to “think”, but there is no thinking data, maybe one sentence. It just hangs sometimes.
