While you are actively collecting money, you should also do a good job in service. I think we have provided a clear description of the problem. What we need to know is the progress of solving the problem, whether the problem has been identified, and when it is expected to be resolved.

Had the same issue, got it working by just adding a new custom model, named it the same as the model I wanted to use (in my case gemini-2.5-pro), selected that new model and it works fine now

Hey, our team is currently focused on higher-priority tasks, but Iāve asked them to fix this bug when they have time. In the meantime, you can try manually adding the model gemini-2.5-pro to your model list, exactly as it appears in Cursor, then select it in the chat, and it should work. Hope this helps!
Does this also work with the max mode for max context window?
Yes, it also works in max mode.
I cant toggle the max mode on with the custom added modelsā¦
Are you getting any errors?
No, when I select the newly added gemini-2.5-pro and toggle max mode on, it switches automatically to claude-4-sonnet. Im unable to let the max mode toggle on while switching to the custom model.
@deanrie Any updates on this issue? Itās been over a week since gemini-2.5-pro stopped working with personal API keys, and gemini-2.5-pro-preview-06-05 canāt be used with MAX mode

This did not work for me, and I am also not able to add gemini 2.5 flash, which I use for a lot of stuff.
