Clicking resume when using gemini 3 pro post connection error wipes previous model progress

Steps to Reproduce

disable wifi after launching a plan with gemini 3 pro agent once you get error connect wifi again and press resume

Expected Behavior

no effect on previous progress the model should pickup from where it failed .

Hey, thanks for the report. This seems like a real issue with the agent’s resume functionality after network interruptions.

Could you help us investigate by providing the Request ID from the affected session? You can get it by:

• Opening the Chat context menu (top right) > Copy Request ID

This will help the engineering team understand why the resume is clearing previous progress instead of continuing from the checkpoint.

In the meantime, as a temporary solution, try to maintain a stable network connection during agent operations.
