Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known quirk. Sometimes GPT-5.2 decides to call the image generation tool on its own when it shouldn’t. A few other users have run into the same thing:

Good that the agent at least cleaned up after itself. Could you grab the Request ID for that chat session? (Top right of the chat, then Copy Request ID.) That would help the team investigate why the model triggered image gen here.

THe same happent to me. I questioned the agent, it said it bundled tool calls and somehow that’s when it happent. See my screenshot and text. Super weird.
