it’s up to 25 but this is still not enough imo, it should be removed, why stop the agent from doing what it is doing? It just makes it worse

You have to have a limitation. Otherwise resources will become unavailable.

Totally agree! Or give us the option to turn it on or off, or adjust the limit number.

It’s clear that we should have the limit to prevent infinite loops, but maybe that limit can be higher or configurable under the user responsability.

For regular models the limit is now 25 tool calls. Max mode has been extended to 200 tool calls as there the context is larger and can handle more tool calls. Cursor team is aware of several feature requests for more tool calls. For now no change has been anounced, we will have to see with time how…
