Getting failed to initialize VM from cursor windows app even on web also

Hey, this is a known issue, and the team is working on a fix for the Cloud Agents incident.

Can you clarify a couple of things:

  • When did you first see this error? Approximate date and time.
  • Does the Cursor desktop app work fine with regular models (not GPT-5.2)? Or is the issue only with Cloud Agent?
  • Can you find and share the setup logs mentioned in the error? They’re usually in the console output or the app logs.

This will help the team track down and fix the issue faster.

Hi Dean, issue started around today 11 pm Qatar time. From the beginning i am using GPT 5.2 it was working fine . I am not able to find the error in app logs . in console its just showing error nothing else .
