You can control which GitHub repos are available to Cursor on GitHub’s end but I have two cursor accounts connected to the same GitHub account - one for business and one for personal use. So the Cursor app on GitHub is sharing both my business and personal repos to both Cursor accounts. This makes it easy for me to accidentally point agents from one account to repos on the other.
I want to have the ability on Cursor’s end to configure that amongst the repos available from GitHub, only show those from e.g. my business GitHub organization. The ability to filter out repos would be great.
There’s a setting that covers the riskier half of this today: Protected Git Scopes. As an admin of your business Cursor team (and an owner/admin of the GitHub org), you can claim your business GitHub organization from the Integrations tab of your dashboard. After that, only your business team can use those repos with Cloud Agents, Automations, and Bugbot, so an agent started from your personal account can’t run against them.
Two caveats: the claimed repos can still appear in your personal account’s repo list (starts will just be blocked), and there isn’t currently a way to hide your personal repos from the business account’s picker. We’ll leave this thread open so others can vote on a per-account repo/org filter.
