### Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

### Describe the Bug

**Environment**

- Cursor **3.22** (upgraded from **3.11.19** , where agent chat text felt correct at Small)
- **Linux** (Ubuntu, `DISPLAY=:0`)
- Layout: **Agent / Glass** (`unifiedAgent`)
- Plan: Pro

**Setting**

- **Cursor Settings → Agents → Text size = Small**
- Confirmed in `~/.config/Cursor/User/settings.json`:
  - `"cursor.composer.textSizeScale": 0.85`

**Actual**

- Chat body text stays large despite Small and `0.85` in settings.
- Reload window / toggling Text size does not change transcript typography.

**Impact**

- Harder to read long agent threads; forces workarounds (e.g. global `window.zoomLevel`) that shrink the entire IDE.

**Ask**

- Restore 3.11 behavior: wire **Agents → Text size** to Glass agent message rendering, or document if Small is deprecated in Glass.

see the attachment where I compare chats with 3.11 (first) and 3.22 versions (second).

### Steps to Reproduce

1. Open Cursor Settings → **Agents**.
2. Set **Text size** to **Small**.
3. Open Agent chat; compare message body text to 3.11 with the same setting (or check `cursor.composer.textSizeScale` is `0.85`).
4. Text size in the main agent transcript does not shrink.

### Expected Behavior

- Agent transcript (user + assistant markdown) renders noticeably smaller when Text size = Small, as in 3.11.

### Screenshots / Screen Recordings

### Operating System

Linux

### Version Information

Version: 3.22.12
VS Code Extension API: 1.128.0
Commit: 3a92974361033b2051526321308c2740fe5912c0
Date: 2026-09-26T04:55:12.125Z
Layout: IDE
Build Type: Stable
Release Track: Default
Electron: 42.10.0
Chromium: 148.0.7778.280
Node.js: 24.18.1
V8: 14.8.178.38-electron.0
xterm.js: 6.1.0-beta.291
OS: Linux x64 6.8.0-45-generic

### Additional Information

- `cursor.composer.textSizeScale` documents scale relative to ~12px base.
- In 3.22 Glass build, the Agents UI appears to **write** this setting (`chat_text_size` analytics / config update), but the **main Glass agent transcript** does not seem to consume it for markdown rendering (setting persists; UI unchanged).

### Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @Igor_Tomalski, thanks for the report and the side-by-side screenshot.

This is a known issue we’re already tracking, and I’ve added your report to it. The Agents \> Text Size value still saves to settings.json, but the agent chat transcript currently doesn’t apply it, so the text stays at the default size.

For now the only workaround is zooming the whole window (Ctrl + = / Ctrl + -, or “window.zoomLevel” in settings.json). I know that’s not ideal since it also shrinks the editor and the rest of the UI. We’ll update this thread once there’s a fix.
