After upgrade to latest version of cursor, i cant choose gpt5.5 high from menu, its disappeared

Steps to Reproduce

the model list dont have gpt5.5 high and xhigh, which could be chosen here

This isn’t a bug - the model picker was redesigned in a recent update. Instead of listing each reasoning level as a separate entry (GPT-5.5 Medium, GPT-5.5 High, GPT-5.5 Extra High), models are now grouped by family.

To use GPT-5.5 at High or Extra High reasoning:

1. Select GPT-5.5 from the model dropdown

2. Hover over the model name and click Edit

3. Adjust the Reasoning parameter to High or Extra High

The models are still fully available - they’re just accessed through the reasoning parameter now.

I have to say this is really poorly designed UI. There are no prompts at all when selecting models, and I’ve been looking for ages with no clue how to adjust the settings.
