GPT 5.6 SOL can only spawn cursor grok 4.6 high fast, any other configuration of reasoning level or non fast option is not available. But using cursor grok 4.6 extra high it can spawn inherited model from parent, so spawning cursor grok 5.6 extra high non fast is possible

Steps to Reproduce

Use model GPT 5.6 Sol Medium, prompt spawn test subagent with model cursor grok 4.6 extra high``

Expected Behavior

Parent model can spawn whatever model I want it to use.

Your read is correct: which Grok effort variant a subagent can use depends on what’s selected in the model picker. When it was set to Medium, spawning cursor-grok-4.5-high was rejected.
