anyone else finding gpt 5 uses alot of prompts just telling you what its going to do and when you try telling it to proceed or “go” as it asks me to say, that it repeats the next prompt telling me what it will implement in different words. has taken me 5+ prompts many times just to get it to edit a file
Had the same issue not only with gpt 5 but other too sometime. I found that if you tell him to start “using his tools” and write the code it will kick start it.
