Grok 4.5 Down - model is not working

Describe the Bug

When I try to use Grok 4.5 it doesn’t work. New chats. Re-opening Cursor doesn’t fix it.

Steps to Reproduce

Select Grok 4.5 and try to run any prompts.

Expected Behavior

It should just work.

I’m experiencing the exact same issue consistently with Grok 4.5.

Tests completed:

  • Grok 4.5 fails in a completely new Agent chat.

  • All available Grok 4.5 variants fail with the same non-retryable provider error.

  • Composer 2.5 works normally in the same Cursor installation and workspace.

Environment:

  • macOS

  • Location: Armenia

This appears isolated specifically to Grok 4.5 routing or account provisioning.
