Grok 4.5 in Plan Mode appears unable to use the AskQuestion tool. When I ask it to list available tools, AskQuestion is missing. If I switch the same chat/task to Composer 2.5 or another model, AskQuestion is available and used correctly.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Cursor.
  2. Start a new Agent/Plan Mode chat.
  3. Select Grok 4.5.
  4. Ask: “List the exact tools available to you.”
  5. Ask it to clarify requirements using the AskQuestion tool.
  6. Switch to Composer 2.5 and repeat.

Expected Behavior

Grok 4.5 should have access to the same Cursor internal planning tools as other supported models, including AskQuestion.

For AI issues: add Request ID with privacy disabled

I’d give you a Request ID, but I can’t find it in the Agent Window which is what I mostly use.
