Grok Bot 0.30.0 — All bots unavailable — “Can’t reach your computer”

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Grok Bot

Describe the Bug

All Grok Bots on my account are unavailable.

Error:
“Can’t reach your computer”
“Your Bots are safe — they just can’t be loaded right now.”

Environment:

  • Grok Bot: 0.30.0
  • macOS, Apple Silicon
  • Timezone: UTC+8
  • Cursor IDE works normally

Tried:

  • Fully quit and reopened Grok Bot
  • Signed out and signed back in
  • VPN TUN + Global mode
  • Verified api2.cursor.sh, agentn.global.api5.cursor.sh, and *.cursorvm.com connectivity

The issue affects every bot. Please check and manually rebuild/reprovision the shared Grok Bot computer for my account.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Launch Grok Bot on macOS.
  2. Sign in with my Cursor account.
  3. Wait for the bot list and shared computer to load.
  4. The application displays “Can’t reach your computer”.
  5. Retry or restart the application.
  6. The same error remains, and none of my existing bots can be loaded or selected.

The issue affects all bots, not only one bot.

Expected Behavior

The shared Grok Bot computer should connect successfully, and all existing bots, conversations, files, and computer screen should load normally.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Having the same exact issue! According to Grok, cursor support needs to rebuild the Agent computer. Need help rebuilding mine too.

same here… this is so lame

Managed to fixed mine. Did an update on the computer in settings and all of a sudden - everything started working again.

Hey @Maxwell1, following up on this.

Your computer was restored on our side on the morning of Aug 29, and it has been connecting normally since then. From what we can see, your bots and files came through fine and your recent sessions have been working.

If the app still shows “Can’t reach your computer” anywhere, fully quit and reopen Grok Bot, and if a computer update is offered in settings, apply it.

Let us know if anything still looks off and we will take another look.

@Kevin_Tee Thanks for confirming that your box recovered, and @Robert_Moran I followed up on your thread!
