Grok Bot 0.30.0 - can't reach agent computer from desktop or iOS, stuck on loading even after reinstall

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Grok Bot

Describe the Bug

Grok Bot agent computer went unreachable this morning and I can’t get back in from anywhere.

Started around 9:45am EDT today. Desktop app (Windows 11, 0.30.0) threw the “Couldn’t Reach Grok Bot’s Computer” dialog. Hit Retry a bunch of times, nothing. Signed out and back in, now it just opens to a black window with a white loading circle and sits there forever. Did a full uninstall and reinstall, same thing.

iOS app on the same account says “Can’t reach your computer” with a Retry button that also does nothing. Two different clients failing the same way so I’m assuming the computer itself is stuck on your end, not something local.

I haven’t been able to try Recover or Update Agent Computer because the desktop app never gets far enough to show Settings, and the iOS app only gives me Retry.

Cursor IDE is fine. Status page says Grok Bot is operational.

Can you rebuild or reprovision the agent computer for my account? Need everything preserved.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Grok Bot on Windows (or iOS)
  2. App tries to reconnect, then either shows “Couldn’t Reach Grok Bot’s Computer” or hangs on a black screen with a loading circle
  3. Retry does nothing. Settings never loads so Recover/Update can’t be run
  4. Same result after sign out/in and after full reinstall

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @JBuilder, good news, your agent computer came back online earlier this afternoon (around 11am EDT) and has been healthy on our side since.

Can you open the desktop or iOS app and confirm you can get back in? Everything should load normally now.

Your agents and chats were stored on our servers the whole time, so nothing was lost. If anything still looks off, reply here and we will take another look.
