Grok Bot 0.30.0 macOS — Can’t reach computer, Recover/Reset failed (partial state), now stuck on white screen

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Grok Bot

Describe the Bug

Grok Bot cannot reach the Agent Computer. It worked yesterday on the same Mac and network.
Today it started with “Reconnecting to your computer…”, then:
“Can’t reach your computer. Your Bots are safe — they just can’t be loaded right now.”
Recover and Reset both failed. The app is now a white window with a black dot. Settings will not open.
Environment

Grok Bot 0.30.0 (Stable)
macOS (Apple Silicon MacBook Pro)
Same network as yesterday, when it worked
Regular internet works. Grok chat/desktop is fine.

What I tried

Retry
Full quit (Command + Q) and relaunch
Activity Monitor — no leftover Grok Bot processes
Sign out and sign back in
Recover computer
Reset Grok Bot’s Computer from Settings → Updates
Update Grok Bot’s Computer — button is greyed out
Phone hotspot with VPN off — same failure as home Wi‑Fi

Reset details

Reset opened “Resetting Grok Bot’s Computer”:

Getting ready ✓
Wiping your data ✓
Creating Grok Bot’s computer ✓
Starting Grok Bot’s computer — stuck around 50%
Then: “Taking longer than expected”
Then: “Reset failed. The reset couldn’t finish. Grok Bot’s computer may be in a partial state — retry to run the reset again.”

After that, Grok Bot only shows a white screen with a black loading dot. The macOS menu does not get Settings to work.
Expected

Bots load and the shared Agent Computer reconnects. Files and logins stay.
Actual

Computer unreachable on home Wi‑Fi and hotspot. Recover/Reset fail. App is unusable.
This looks like a stuck Agent Computer on your side, not local DNS.

Steps to Reproduce

Turn it on

Expected Behavior

I can access Grok Bot

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

I couldn’t reach computer and reset my computer and lost my bots and chats entirely

Hey @Mrad, quick update from our side.

The stuck operation on your computer cleared this afternoon. We can see your computer came back and reconnected, with your files and logins intact.

If the app is still showing a white screen for you, quit Grok Bot fully (Cmd+Q) and relaunch, and it should load normally.

Thanks again for the detailed report, and sorry for the disruption. If anything still looks off, reply here and we will dig back in.
