Grok Bot runs on a cloud computer, not your Mac, so a local MCP like 1Password’s (which is tied to the 1Password desktop app) isn’t reachable from it. That’s why your HTTP connectors (Gmail, Calendar, GitHub, Notion) work but this one can’t.
Use remote HTTP/SSE MCP or catalog connectors where they exist, and the cloud browser otherwise. For the 1Password local MCP specifically, Cursor IDE is the surface that can use it. If 1Password ships a remote/HTTP endpoint later, you can add that to Grok Bot as a custom connector.
And you’re right that installing fine and then erroring with a raw spawn 1password-mcp ENOENT is confusing - appreciate you flagging it.
