Grok Bot cant connect and setting computer pane blank

Describe the Bug

Grok Bot desktop on macOS is permanently stuck on “Reconnecting”, or “Can’t Reach your computer”, and setting computer pane are blank.

Environment:

  • Grok Bot version 0.36.0
  • Stable update track

Troubleshooting completed:

  • Built-in Retry failed
  • Fully quit and reopened the apa
  • Reinstall Grok Bot
  • Update Grok Bot

Last Reply from Grok chat:
"Your Mac shows up as connected, but commands still won’t run on it — so P1 (piping, UTM, N-of-M, timers, etc.) is waiting.

Reconnect this computer in Grok Bot (Computers / Execution on Local Computer), keep the laptop awake, then ping me and I’ll continue."

Steps to Reproduce

  1. open grok bot app > select one thread > type anything doesnt work
  2. open grok bot setting > computer > blank page (previously before there was a computer name & always allow)
  3. every time - doesn’t work

  • Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor
  • No - Cursor works, but with this issue
