I upgraded from an individual plan to a Teams plan and merged my subscriptions. On the web dashboard everything looks right: I have a team name, I’m the admin, I can invite members, and the Grok Bot page shows “Grok Bot is enabled for your team.”

The problem is the Grok Bot desktop app for Mac, on the latest version. After logging out and back in several times, it shows no Teams features:

- There is no Share button on bots.
- There is no “Create new Team Bot” option in the command palette.
- There is no “Share with your Team” option.

If I create a bot from the web interface, it shows up in the Mac app, but only as a regular personal bot with no team options.

I have checked that I’m signed in with the account that is the team admin, and that Grok Bot is enabled for the team. Is there a separate step to link the Grok Bot app to the team, or is this a known issue? If someone from the team can contact me directly, I’d appreciate it.

Mac, latest Grok Bot app version.

Hi @Brandon_Samuels,

There’s no separate linking step, and nothing is wrong with how you’re signed in. This is a known issue the team is aware of, and I’ve added your report to it. When an individual plan becomes a team, the team is still treated as your personal workspace until someone else joins it. Until then the app can’t create or share Team Bots, even though the dashboard shows your team with Grok Bot enabled.

What switches it on is a second member. Once someone you invite from the dashboard accepts and joins, Team Bots should start working for the team. You can then use New chat (+) → Team Bots → Create new Team Bot, or Create new Team Bot from the command palette. Depending on your plan, adding a member can add a seat charge, so it’s only worth doing if you meant to bring people on anyway.

There’s no workaround for a team with just you in it right now. Your existing bots keep working as personal bots in the meantime.
