Hey, thanks for the extra context, that’s an important angle. Summarizing your request: you want control over which usage pool (Cursor Models / Other Models / On-Demand) Grok Bot and any Cloud Agents it runs can spend from, so it doesn’t unexpectedly freeze Automations that are set to Cursor Models only.

I’ll pass this to the team as feedback. Right now there isn’t a separate switch to limit Grok Bot to a specific pool. The controls that exist are account-wide (the On-Demand limit in Dashboard \> Usage on [cursor.com](http://cursor.com)), and they don’t split by product.

A similar request about model and spend controls for Grok Bot is already being discussed here. Please take a look and upvote so everything stays in one place:

> Feature request for product/service – Other – Describe the request I have Grokbot ultra and like others have burnt through Grokbot weekly credits very quickly in a short time. I would like the options for : a) Choosing default set of models and overrides for each bot b) Allowing Grokbot (via option) to use regular Cursor credits c) Allowing individual bots to use Ondemand spend Operating System (if it applies) MacOS

How usage is split across pools can change depending on your plan and current setup. The most accurate view for your account is always in Dashboard \> Usage. If you want the team to check specific charges on your account (which pool was charged and what was charged for Automations), email [hi@cursor.com](mailto:hi@cursor.com) and they can look into the details.

There’s no timeline for product-scoped controls yet, but if there’s an update, I’ll reply in the thread.
