Grok Bot: Higgsfield MCP disconnects every 30–60 seconds and has to be reconnected

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Somewhere else…

Describe the Bug

The Higgsfield MCP in Grok Bot keeps disconnecting every 30 seconds to a minute. After it drops, it stops working until I connect it again. I have to reconnect it over and over.

This is the Higgsfield plugin connector (Plugins → Yours), not a one-off error. Affected area: Grok Bot plugins / Higgsfield MCP.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Open Grok Bot → Plugins → Yours
  2. Connect / enable Higgsfield MCP
  3. Wait 30–60 seconds
  4. Higgsfield disconnects / stops working
  5. Reconnect it, wait another 30–60 seconds, it drops again

Expected Behavior

Higgsfield MCP should stay connected until I disconnect it.

Operating System

Other

Version Information

Grok Bot iOS 1.0 (App Store). Higgsfield plugin installed from the Grok Bot / Cursor plugin marketplace. Device: iPhone, Grok Bot app (also happens after reconnecting from Plugins).

Additional Information

Reconnect “fixes” it only until the next drop. Other plugins can stay connected; this is specific to Higgsfield in my case.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey @Netanel
Thanks for the clear report. This isn’t anything on your device or account - the Higgsfield connector’s sign-in can’t renew itself, so it drops once the first session expires, and no Grok Bot setting will hold it open.

Best workaround for now: reconnect Higgsfield right before you use it, rather than expecting it to stay live in the background.

We’ve let the team know and this is an issue we’re tracking. I’ll post here when there’s an update.
