Grok Bot iOS: sidebar section Move Down snaps back (middle of three can’t stay at bottom)

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Grok Bot

Describe the Bug

On Grok Bot iOS, rearranging sidebar sections fails for the middle section in a three-section layout. Using the section overflow menu Move Down on “Behind the Scenes” briefly moves it toward the bottom, then it immediately snaps back to the middle. Cannot get “Behind the Scenes” to stay at the bottom.

Layout shown: Solly (2) → Behind the Scenes (9) → Unassigned (3).

Actual

Flash reorder then snap back; Behind the Scenes stays middle.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. On Grok Bot iOS, have at least three sidebar sections (e.g. Solly, Behind the Scenes, Unassigned).
  2. Open the menu on the middle section (“Behind the Scenes”) — Rename / Move Up / Move Down / Delete.
  3. Tap Move Down.
  4. Observe: section briefly reorders toward bottom, then snaps back to middle.

Expected Behavior

Move Down persists; middle section becomes last (above only if Unassigned is special — if Unassigned is meant to stay last, Move Down on middle should still allow Behind the Scenes below Solly and the UI shouldn’t flash-then-revert; document if Unassigned is sticky).

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey @jsolly,

Yes - Unassigned is meant to stay pinned at the bottom (it’s the bucket for chats not in a section), so a named section can’t sit below it. That’s why Move Down won’t take Behind the Scenes any lower.

The flash-then-revert shouldn’t happen, though - Move Down on the last named section should just do nothing. We’ve let the team know and it’s an issue we’re tracking.

For now you can still reorder your named sections with Move Up (e.g. Move Up on Behind the Scenes puts it above Solly).
