Grok Bot iOS: Vercel plugin sheet stuck on "Added" after uninstall/re-add (force-quit required)

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Grok Bot

Describe the Bug

After uninstalling then re-adding the Vercel marketplace plugin on Grok Bot iOS, the plugin detail sheet stuck with a semi-transparent “Added” overlay. The X close control was visible but unresponsive; the rest of the app could not be interacted with until force-quitting Grok Bot from the iOS app switcher.

This is distinct from Vercel OAuth redirect failures (Related: Grok Bot: Vercel plugin (649) OAuth fails with “App configuration error – redirect URL is invalid”).

Steps to Reproduce

  1. On Grok Bot iOS, uninstall the Vercel plugin.
  2. Re-add / install Vercel from Plugins.
  3. Land on the Vercel plugin detail sheet; observe “Added” pill/overlay.
  4. Try X / dismiss / navigate elsewhere.

Expected Behavior

Sheet dismisses; app remains interactive after install.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey @jsolly, thanks for the report, and for the screenshot!

It would help a lot to know whether this happens every time or was a one-off. Could you try these steps?

  1. Force-quit Grok Bot from the app switcher and reopen it.
  2. Go to Plugins, open Your plugins, and tap Vercel.
  3. Tap the … menu in the top right of the sheet and choose Uninstall, then confirm.
  4. Stay on that same sheet and tap Add again.
  5. Wait about 5 seconds after the button changes to “Added” without tapping anything.

Does the sheet close on its own after step 5? If it gets stuck again, please reply with your exact iOS version (Settings > General > About) and whether the sheet also gets stuck when you add a plugin that was not just uninstalled (for example, uninstall Vercel, close the sheet, then open it again and tap Add).

In the meantime, force-quitting and reopening the app is the way out if it happens again; the plugin itself is installed correctly on our side.
