They do appear in the left preview pane and on the iOS app. Recreated the bot and restarted the work; same behavior returned — replies still only in left preview + iOS, not the main Mac chat pane. Chat / agent id: b8f034e6-9546-4407-b7c5-fdf079b0356a Steps to Reproduce 1. Open Grok Bot on Mac. 2. Open the affected agent chat and send a message (or wait for a reply). 3. Observe: reply missing from main chat pane. 4. Observe: same reply visible in left preview pane and on iOS. 5. Recreate bot / start over — issue returns after a little while. Expected Behavior Replies render in the main Mac chat pane (same as iOS / preview). Operating System macOS (Grok Bot for Mac) Does this stop you from using Cursor? Hey, thanks for the detailed report and for the second chat ID. Based on what you described, the bot is receiving and processing your messages. That’s why the replies show up on iPhone and in the sidebar preview. The issue is with the current Mac app version 0.43.0. The main chat panel stops getting live updates for the conversation, so your messages end up looking like they weren’t delivered, and the replies don’t appear in the main window. This isn’t related to your setup, and it’s the same root cause on both Macs. Don’t do a Reset or Restore for the bot computer and don’t reinstall the app. It won’t help and you’ll just waste time. Recreating the bot doesn’t fix it either, as you already saw. This is a known issue and we’re tracking it. I can’t share an exact timeline yet, but I’ll reply in this thread when there’s an update. For now, the iPhone app shows these chats reliably, and other bots on Mac that aren’t affected yet should still work normally. ---

@deanrie This issue was resolved yesterday, however today the issue is starting to happen across all devices. iOS (iPad, iPhone etc), Mac. I can see the responses in the preview pane, but not the main chat pane. Unable to use a different device to see responses at all now. ---

Hey, replying to your update from September 7. What you saw on the 7th is a separate incident, not the original issue coming back. That afternoon, roughly 12:00 Central, we had a service-side outage. Because of it, our servers temporarily lost connection to your existing computer and spun up a second copy of it. For a few hours, your devices could land on either copy, so the preview pane showed a newer reply while the opened chat showed an older version of the conversation. This was on our side and not related to your Mac or iOS devices. We removed the second copy early on the morning of September 8, and since then your account has been running on a single computer. From what we can see, all conversations from that evening onward went to the surviving computer, so nothing should be lost, except possibly one reply around 14:00 Central on September 7. Separately, your original issue where replies didn’t appear in the main chat on Mac 0.43.0 is now resolved. You updated the app, and it no longer reproduces. Can you check that the main chat and the preview match again on Mac and iOS? If anything is still out of sync, or if the chat or bot looks like it rolled back in time, reply here with the bot name and roughly when it happened, and we’ll take a closer look. One more thing. On September 9 to 10, your Mac periodically lost connection to the computer due to timeouts and DNS errors. If you often see Reconnecting, try once with VPN turned off to rule that out. ---
