Grok Bot (macOS): right-click menu has no Look Up

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Grok Bot

Describe the Bug

The Grok Bot desktop app on macOS has no “Look Up” item in its right-click menu for selected text. The menu only shows Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Select All, AutoFill and Services, so I can’t look up a word in the macOS dictionary from inside the app.

Steps: in any Grok Bot chat, select a word in the message box or in a message, then right-click it.
Expected: Look Up “” at the top of the menu, which opens the Dictionary popover, the same as in Chrome and other Mac apps.
Actual: there’s no Look Up item. Chrome on the same Mac shows it and opens the dictionary normally.

Screenshots: first the Grok Bot menu, then Chrome’s menu.

Hey @TheAviv, thanks for the report and the side-by-side screenshots!

You’re right, the Grok Bot right-click menu doesn’t include Look Up right now, in the message box or on message text. I’ve flagged this to the team.

In the meantime, the system Look Up should still work outside the menu: Force Click the word on your trackpad (or three-finger tap, depending on System Settings > Trackpad > Point & Click > Look up & data detectors), or hover over the word and press Control-Command-D. If neither of those opens the Dictionary popover in Grok Bot, let me know and I’ll add that to the report.
