Thanks all for confirming. This is still an issue we’re tracking: skills shown in a template’s preview don’t arrive on the imported bot. Sorry the copy-paste workaround I suggested earlier doesn’t work, since the preview text can’t be selected.
A workaround that should get you there: take screenshots of each skill in the template preview (scrolling through the longer ones), send them to the new bot, and ask it to create a skill with exactly that content. Give the result a quick read afterward since it’s working from images.
@Olan @Joao_Rios it’s related, but a separate issue. Instructions and descriptions not showing on desktop comes from the redesigned details pane, covered in Grok Bot MacOS: Unable to see or edit bot instructions or skills on desktop. Skills you already have are still on desktop: press Cmd+Shift+M (Ctrl+Shift+M on Windows) and look under Private skills.
