Regarding resetting chats so that the whole previous context isn’t always being sent, to avoid token burn, this is the advice being given:

How are we meant to reset or start a new chat with the bot?
Hey @mwjt42, That “+” trick is desktop-only right now. The Android “+” just has New Bot and New Group Chat (which needs two bots), so there’s no one-bot fresh-chat option on mobile yet. We’ve passed it along.
If you’re ever on the desktop app, right-click the bot and choose Duplicate. You get a copy with an empty chat that keeps the bot’s setup, and it shows up on your phone too.
And no need to reset to save usage. Idle chats don’t cost anything. Usage only counts when you send a new message, so just start fresh per task and leave the old chats be.

The fact that it’s considered a trick is concerning. This is basic functionality.
Which is impossible on mobile.
Hermes allows for /new and has an auto 90min (default) reset. Perhaps the team might consider something similar.
