So I my own research and it seems the reason my bots stopped without notice is because I used my free trial usage. No warning, no reason why, just a blue bar that says “7 Days” and is all blue. There needs to be more clarification if that blue bar means 100% left or 100% used since I only noticed it after the fact.
Regardless the agents blew through the free trial in 45 min. I can see it saving time, but there is too many glitches and not enough clarification on how much usage you get. There’s the Cursor Pro, The Super Grok, Heavy Grok…too much confusion. Whoever’s in charge of these naming conventions needs to get the boot.
TLDR;
The reason my GrokBot agents stopped responding is because my trial ended in 45min. Brealy enough time to check it out.
Hey, thanks for coming back and writing this up. Your diagnosis is correct. You don’t need to restart or rebuild anything. The Grok Bot computer is fine.
The bots stopped replying because your free trial usage ran out, not because of an issue with the computer. Once usage is exhausted, the bots simply stop responding to new messages.
Important: nothing was deleted. Your bots, chats, and files are still on the computer, and you can still open the computer view and take control directly if you need to grab anything.
Also, don’t click Reset Grok Bot’s Computer. It won’t help in this case, and it can wipe the data on the computer.
To get the bots replying again, you need an active Grok Bot plan. Open Sign in using the same account. If you already have SuperGrok, link it at Cursor - The best way to code with AI using the same email. After that, fully quit Grok Bot from the tray icon, open it again, and the bots will continue from where they left off. You can always see your remaining usage in Settings > Usage.
About the blue 7 Days bar, I agree it’s unclear whether it shows what’s left or what’s been used, and there’s no warning before you run out. That’s good feedback and I’ll pass it to the team. I’ll also note the confusion around the plan names.
Let me know if anything in the steps above doesn’t work.
