Feature request for product/service
Cursor IDE
Describe the request
When I have two (or more) Agent chats open side-by-side in the workspace — including pinned chats — I want those same chats to also appear grouped / pinned together in the Agents sidebar, the way Arc browser groups related tabs.
Today: I can pin chats and open them in a split view, but in the left Agents sidebar they still show as separate, disconnected items in the normal chat list (e.g. under “Today”). There is no visual grouping that reflects which chats are currently open together as a workspace set.
Requested behavior (Arc-inspired):
- Chats that are open together in a split/multi-pane workspace should be visually pinned/grouped together in the sidebar.
- The group should stay contiguous (adjacent in the list), clearly marked as related/open-together — similar to Arc’s pinned tab strip / tab groups.
- Unpinning or closing one chat from the group should update the sidebar grouping accordingly.
- Ideally this works for 2+ chats, not only exactly two.
Why it helps: When juggling multiple related Agent threads (e.g. a planner chat + an insights chat on the same project), the sidebar should mirror the active workspace so I can jump back to that pair quickly without scanning the full history list.
