Just wondering if anyone has used codex and then moved over to Cursor

Thanks nice and short answer. Just wondering what made you decide to move from Codex over to Cursor? Was it mainly the cost, or did you find Cursor better or easier to use for development?
I’m only a single user and mainly developing small programs for my own use, so I’m finding the Codex usage/credit costs can add up fairly quickly.

No, I’ve always been using Cursor. I’m not really inclined to try others — they don’t seem very friendly to users in mainland China and tend to ban accounts arbitrarily.
Yes - I found that cursor had much more generous/better usage limits and the models (particularly composer 2.5 at the time) was much better at getting thing done quickly.
I also used ChatGPT 5X plan and Claude Code.
I find the Cursor IDE very good, and the terminal interface quite strong.
