Has the "Use Multiple Models" / Best of N feature been removed?

Previously there was a “Use Multiple Models” / best-of-N feature , but I no longer see that option.

I am using the latest Cursor version available to me:

Hi @bbutler Sorry for the delay on this. Thanks for asking. The old local “Use Multiple Models” checkbox is no longer shown in the editor model picker.

There is still a Best-of-N workflow, but availability depends on the surface:

  • In the editor window, /best-of-n is only available for Git-backed workspaces. If the window is opened on a parent folder that is not itself a Git repo, or a multi-root workspace where one folder is not a Git repo, the command may not appear.
  • In the newer Agents view, the /best-of-n slash command is not currently exposed there. Worktree support is handled through the Agents Window flow instead.
