# HELP Can't use Cursor anymore

### Describe the Bug

My project is medium sized and typescript/react. It appears to get stuck initializing typescript and freezes the entire UI. Can’t even type terminal commands.

I’m a paying user of cursor. Unfortunately this past month I am unable to use the cursor. But VS code works fine.

I am using the latest version.

Please let me know what I can do.

### Steps to Reproduce

Download a large typescript react project. Try to open the project… not sure what really triggers it. I’m on mac. I have a suspicion it may be because my Idrive also backs up project files.

### Expected Behavior

Cursor works

### Operating System

MacOS

### Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

1.2  
I wish I could give you more info but I can’t open cursor

### Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

I deleted the files here

macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Cursor/User/workspaceStorage

And it worked again after re-pulling my git project fresh.
