[Help] Error 429 when using Gemini 1.5 Pro Free API Key – When does the quota reset?

Hi everyone,
I’m currently using the Gemini 1.5 Pro free API key for my thesis project on a RAG-based chatbot. For the past few days, I’ve been getting a 429 error: quota exceeded whenever I try to call the API.

I’ve read that the quota should reset after some time, but I’m not sure how long it takes or if I need to do anything for the key to become active again.

Has anyone experienced this issue before or is currently using the free Gemini API key? I’d really appreciate any advice or tips on how to resolve this.
