I installed the iOS app which removed my Privacy Mode (Legacy). I do not want cloud agents. Please can you help to manually revert my account back to the legacy privacy version?
Hey, let’s clear this up. First, the key point about privacy, because everything is fine here. Installing the iOS app by itself doesn’t change the mode.
The switch happened when you confirmed the in-app dialog during iOS app setup. We know that dialog didn’t explain the consequences clearly enough, and we’re actively improving that.
Right now your account is in the standard Privacy Mode. That doesn’t mean your code is used for training. Your code is still never used to train models. The only difference vs Legacy is that storage-dependent features like Cloud Agents become possible, but they’re opt-in. Nothing runs unless you start it. So you don’t need to worry that something is working in the background without you.
About switching back to Privacy Mode Legacy, individual accounts can’t switch back. That’s by design, and you won’t see an option in settings or the dashboard. A manual rollback at the account level is a separate decision by our team, and I can’t guarantee it. If you want them to review your request, email [email protected] and they can check your specific account.
