after I enabled Agents Window, it will always start, and old UI editor window doesn’t show up by default. I have to right click on the icon on the task bar, and click New Window to start a new cursor to see the old ui
How can I stop Agents Window completely. really annoying
Hi @Ron_Yan Cursor remembers the last way that you closed the app. So if the last window you close before quitting Cursor is the Agents Window it will re-open with that. If the last window you close before quitting Cursor is the IDE, it will re-open in the IDE view.
It’s not working. the problem is: if I close Agents window first, it will automatically close the legacy UI editor. There isn’t a way to let cursor old UI open only.
I’m on the same version on Windows as you and the New Window does work for me, but I recommend that you open it this way: From the Agents View, click File → Open Editor Window or Ctrl + Shift + N
Once you have the IDE view open, you can close the Agents View. Next you open up Cursor it will open to the IDE Editor View.
I do have the same issue, even when using the proper VS Code style, if I log in and log out, it loads at the ‘agents windows’ view. How do you coplitelly disable this view or remove it?
The solution does not work for me. Very annoying, the agents window opens first. There is an option to go to the editor in the file menu and the top right. I have tried both ways and it still always opens the agents window first. The editor totally forgets what project it was on. Please make a toggle switch.
