Hi Saaif, Cursor doesn’t typically collect a phone number as part of the normal login flow.
If you entered a phone number while setting up billing, it may be stored in your Stripe billing details. You can remove it by going to https://cursor.com/dashboard/billing, clicking Manage in Stripe, and updating/removing the phone number from your billing information there.
I tried logging into my account using my email, but it keeps redirecting me to this page. When I try to enter my phone number, it says the number is invalid.
I understand the required E.164 phone number format, and I’m entering the number correctly, so this does not appear to be a formatting issue.
I’m not sure if Cursor allows this, but I do have multiple accounts, and one of my other accounts might already be using this phone number. However, is providing a phone number required?
I also tried signing up for a new account and still kept getting redirected to the same page. I only have one phone number, so this is becoming really frustrating.
