I’m seeking help with an issue that is severely impacting my workflow. During development, the “Shift+Skip” prompt frequently appears in the dialog box.
This prompt completely halts my code execution, and the only way to proceed is by manually going to the Terminal and pressing the “Enter” key. This has become extremely disruptive, as it means I cannot step away from the screen because the process is constantly interrupted and requires manual intervention.
Could someone please advise on how to configure Cursor to disable this “Shift+Skip” prompt? I need the process to run without these constant interruptions.
hi @noel.huang90 which Cursor version are you using?
We have released a beta of Cursor 1.6 which has several terminal related fixes.
In the next days we will be releasing it to everyone to default release channel.
“The issue where the process pauses and requires a manual press of the Enter key to continue has been a persistent source of frustration. It fundamentally undermines the purpose of an automated program. As you mentioned last week, I am very much hoping that the upcoming new version will resolve this bug in the Windows 11 environment.”
“Hi Cursor R&D team, Do you have a timeline for the bug I reported? I’m very much looking forward to a fix, as it’s currently causing me a lot of trouble.”
I am writing to ask if there is an updated version of Cursor for Windows 11 and if it can solve my problem. This issue is still troubling me, and I look forward to your reply.
Updated the cursor, the previous “Shift + Skip” issue has been resolved, but now the “Shift + Cancel” problem has emerged. It has been stuck for a long time and remains unresolved.
